hi all, i need some help with something, i have been searching the internet on how to do it... but i couldnt find any answer,

i was wondering if anyone knowes how to connect a simple electric circuit (like a light bulb or whatever) to the computer using a parallel port (i think its a bit easier that a serial or USB) and control it using VB.NET

so if anyone knows how to do it plz tell me, it doesnt matter if its using a parallel port or serial, just tell me how to do it...

i never read about this field before, however if you use .net 2.0 or later you can use the class SerialPort  in the namespace System.IO.Ports and see this link for some info:
