    You'll have to install VS.net SP1 and SQL Server SP2.. that's it.

But if you're under a deadline, then maybe you should install Vista after you finish your project...

    Re: .Net Development Under VIsta

    Hi,

regarding to SQL Server 2000, u need to install SP4, and regarding to the VS2005 u must install VS 2005 SP1 Update for Vista after installing the fresh SP1 for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite which include the support to the other edittions (Standard, Enterprise, Architecture....), and its different than the standard VS 2005 SP1 which have many pending issues.

Regarding to the debugging problem u must check the following:-

1- You must run the VS 2005 as administrator on Vista when debugging

2- Some Enviorment Variables - especially in Vista Home Edittion - can cause this problems even u install the SP1 and the other updates, u can go to Microsoft Connect and download the following hotfix:

    http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=7250

    Regards,
